They feature a telescoping double wall and a unique ratchet system that is up to three times stronger than welded or bolt-on fasteners. The unit’s lower deck is designed to guide pallet jacks in smoothly, reducing the risk of damage. About Steel Square DLR Pallets
Steel Square offers the DLR (double leg ratchet) series in open-top, solid top, and metric configurations. Optional anti-microbial additives make them suitable for sanitary environments. You can further customize with intermittent perimeter lips or rubber grommets. Multiple colors are available, and branding can be hot-stamped or molded-in for clear identification.
The 40″ x 48″ open-top DLR pallet is edge rackable up to 2,200 lbs and includes FM-approved fire retardant formulations, FDA-compliant resins, and non-decaBDE plastic. It supports a 30,000 lb static load and a 5,000 lb dynamic load.
These open-top pallets are ideal for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and general manufacturing applications, as well as warehouse and material handling environments requiring long-lasting durability. Manufactured using HDPE, these pallets offer superior resistance to mold and bacteria. The open-top design enhances visibility and allows easier cleaning.
